โœฆ Synopsis

Telecommunications: A Systems Approach (1976) uses two extended case studies, of public telephone and television systems, in order to introduce the basic ideas of telecommunication systems. It describes the application of a number of techniques within the context of practical telecommunications systems, and takes into account the needs of the users of these systems and the economic constraints which affect the choice of techniques and the overall system structure. First published in 1976 by George Allen & Unwin. Routledge Library Editions: Broadcasting brings together in 40 volumes a collection of previously out-of-print books that look at all aspects of television and radio broadcasting. From the early years of broadcasting, as people were devising both the nature of the programmes and the technology needed to broadcast them, to updates as 21st century technology changed the nature of broadcasting and changes in society brought different content, these books provide a valuable overview and detailed analysis to form a key reference collection.
