Abstract

Implementation of the same technologies or ideas in production management can lead to different results, even if they are introduced in enterprises functioning in strongly comparable business environments. The anticipated reasons for this phenomenon are varieties in technological culture. Such conjecture was an inspiration to undertake a study in this matter. In this article, a comprehensive analysis of a literature review on culture is presented. It delivers a background of deeper insight into researchers' views of technological culture and its role in implementation of innovations in enterprises. The focus of this article is how employees perceive technological culture and how it can affect implementation of innovations. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
