Author
She was born in Ankara, in 1945. She studied at T.E.D. Ankara High School, Gazi Teachers College, Hacettepe University (B.A. in Linguistics), Middle East Technical University (M.A. in E.L.T), Hacettepe University (Ph.D. in applied Linguistics), Leeds University postgraauate diploma in TEfL), and Leeds University and Edinburgh Moray House College of Education (two courses in teacher education).
She taught at T.E.D, Ankara Private High School for seven years before transferring to Gazi Teachers College in 1974, now Gazi Faculty of Education, where she is currently teaching.
She has also written the book Teaching Grammar.
