✦ Synopsis

Todays students are faced with a virtual tsunami of digital information. Given this dilemma, they are often willing to surrender and rely on the first website listed on their Internet search. This can lead to disaster for, as we know, not everything on the Internet is of value, true, or accurate. A remedy to this situation is to arm students with the skills of digital content curation. This text outlines a seven step process that can easily be embedded into the curriculum of any academic discipline. It provides the reader with the skills necessary to examine digital content, determine accuracy, and synthesize that information into a creative and reliable product.
