✦ Synopsis
The diffraction problem of a Gaussian beam wa¨e by finite strip grating on a grounded dielectric for TE polarization is considered. The desired integral equation for the induced surface current density o¨er the strips is deri¨ed and sol¨ed by the method of moments. Theoretical results for off-Bragg as well as Bragg blazing in the finite periodic geometry are presented. Some discussions of the Bragg and off-Bragg blazing phenomena are gi¨en.
