Garrick Stevens is a homicide detective in Miami Florida. His life is never his own. He has a team of men he considers his family and a grandmother with a mouth that has no filter. Tripp Anderson loves his life and his job. He works for a defense attorney that is the best in the state. Tripp has had a few relationships but they never lasted long. He knows one day he will find the right one but he isn't in a hurry and he doesn't make it a point to go out looking. His best friend is also his roommate. He loves to make Tripp go out with him to the club Shakers for dancing and drinking anytime he gets the chance.�

One night when Tripp goes to the club, he is kidnapped while Garrick and his team are on their stakeout. Will Garrick find Tripp in time before he is another victim? When my mind is full of voices, I love to sit out on the patio with a cup of coffee listening to music playing in the background while I put the voices into stories. I enjoy early mornings when it's quiet. I love the mountains and early Spring. I have a loving husband that stands by me in everything that I do.
