ADELYN: I got a letter in the mail saying I inherited a cabin up in the mountains of Montana from a dead grandma I never knew I had. Adelyn is too young, too gorgeous, too innocent for the likes of me. I’ll ruin her with my darkness. I’ll suck up every last drop of her goodness until I wring her dry. And I can’t do that. She deserves so much more than I have to offer. But, Adelyn has other ideas. It seems that I can’t get rid of her, and as time goes on, I find I don’t want to. Where I am stoic and silent, she is bubbly and talkative. Where I am bitter and jaded, she is kind and innocent. Where I am weak and closed off, she is strong yet vulnerable.
