When wildlife researcher Addie Spencer is trapped in a remote valley by a snowstorm, she takes shelter for the night in a cave. The next morning, she is surprised to witness a bear and a wolf fighting outside, but the real shock comes when the wolf transforms into a man before her eyes.

Unable to return to civilization until the snow melts in spring, Addie lives first with Adam—the wolf shifter—and then with Armel—the bear who turns out to be a shifter as well. Addie finds herself drawn to both men, but the two alpha shifters have difficulty getting along. Will Addie be forced to choose between them, even though she has fallen in love with them both?
