✦ Synopsis

Using an improved high temperature reduction method we found that in the n-type high-Te-system Pr2-xCexCu04+6 bulk superconductivity can be established between x < 0.09 and x ~ 0.17 i.e. over a much broader range than previously reported. The T2-contribution to the resistivity increases with the Ce-concentration. In the evolution of the Hall-coefficient with the Ce-concentration we find clear indications for a coexisting hole-type and electron-type of orbit at the Fermi surface.

The effect of doping and nonstoichiometric disordering on the anisotropy of resistivity of Nd 2Àx Ce x CuO 4þd single crystal films (x ¼ 0:12; 0.15; 0.17) with (0 0 1) and (1 10) orientations was investigated. We have found that the increase in the nonstoichiometric disorder leads to the growth of r
