## Abstract As petroleum prices continue to increase, it is likely that biofuels will play an ever‐increasing role in our energy future. The processing of biomass‐derived feedstocks (including cellulosic, starch‐ and sugar‐derived biomass, and vegetable fats) by catalytic cracking and hydrotreating
