Syntopix to develop new microemulsions

UK-based Syntopix Group secured financial support from Intelligent Formulation for a 30-day international research challenge involving the development of microemulsions based on environmentally acceptable surfactants for skincare applications. It is hoped that the resultant data will assist in the formulation of new cosmetic, pharmaceutical and personal care products. Microemulsions are a blend of oil and water that contain extremely tiny particles and can be produced by simply mixing the components.
