This report describes a simple two-phase process for the oxidation of betm[b]thiophene. the generation of aromatic nitriloxides. the cyctoaddition of the latxer with the oxidized bemo[b]thiophene and Ihe halogenorion of the cycloadducts. All these reaction can be erected in a one-pot procedure.
