✦ Synopsis
Single crystals of ~-(BEDT-TTF)2Brl 2 and B-(BEDT-TTF)2Brl 2 were prepared using standard electrochemical techniques in nitrogen saturated benzonitrile solution containing (n-C4HIo)NBrl 2 as supporting electrolyte. The crystals have nearly identical structure features of ~-(BEDT-TTF)213 and B-(BEDT-TTF)213, except that the BrI2 anions are disordered in ~-(BEDT-TTF)2Brl 2 and B-(BEDT-TTF)2Brl 2. Their electrical behavior is different from the corresponding ~-,B-(BEDT-TTF)213species.
