Abstract

Novel 1โ€(2,4โ€dichlorophenyl)โ€3โ€[4โ€arylโ€5โ€(1__H__โ€1,2,4โ€triazolโ€1โ€yl)thiazolโ€2โ€yl] urea derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of 2โ€aminoโ€4โ€sustituted phentylโ€5โ€(1__H__โ€1,2,4โ€triazolโ€1โ€yl) thiazoles with 2,4โ€dichloroโ€1โ€isocyanatobenzene. Structures of the title compounds were confirmed by the elemental analysis, ^1^H NMR, and single crystal Xโ€ray diffraction analysis. Biological evaluation showed that some of them possess promising antitumor activities. ยฉ 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
