✦ Synopsis
)acrylamido]trimethyl ammonium chloride resin was developed as a new polymeric phase-transfer catalyst. This quaternized polyacrylamide catalyzed the regioselective ring opening of epoxides by thiocyanate ion to give thiocyanohydrins in high yields under mild conditions.
