Stepwise introduction of the potential tripod ligands tris(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)borate (Tp\*) and tris(1cyclohepta-2,4,6-trienyl)phosphane into the coordination sphere of rhodium(I) leads mainly to [Tp\*Rh{P(C 7 H 7 ) 3 }] (4), in which Tp\* is linked to the rhodium through a single pyrazolyl gr
