✦ Synopsis
The QCM measurements were made on polished, AT-cut crystals (AT: orientation of the cut relative to the crystal axes) with aluminum electrodes operated at a frequency of 9 MHz. A surface roughness of 15%. as measured by nitrogen adsorption isotherms, was taken into account.
[13] The bands at 2975,2888, and 1390 cm-' in the RAIR spectrum reveal the presence of ethoxy groups within the surface-attached APS moiety. The bands at 1089 and 11 18 cm-' are characteristic for siloxane oligomers.
