## Abstract Two routes were simultaneously investigated to prepare organometallic precursors. They were characterized by NMR and FTIR techniques. In the first route, yttrium acetate was silylated by trimethylchlorosilane before its dissolution in hexamethydisilazane. That leads to a liquid precurso
