## Abstract __N__‐(2‐Hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide (HPMA) copolymer‐linked nitroxides were synthesized as macromolecular contrast agents for MR imaging. Molar relaxivities of HPMA copolymer‐linked nitroxides increased linearly in proportion to the number of nitroxides attached per gram of copolymer.
