Kestoses (D-fructofuranosyl derivatives of sucrose) are produced by a variety of plants, including tulip bulbs l, Jerusalem artichoke2, asparagus3, and banana fruit4. ## Abstract The 1‐NH structure for 3‐azidoindazole has been demonstrated by the observation of ^1^H^1^H and ^13^C^1^H couplings involving the hydrogen atom attached to nitrogen. A comparison between 3‐azidoindazole and indazole shows that both compounds have the same tautomeric structure.

## Abstract The ^13^C n.m.r. spectra of some dimeric __Catharanthus__ alkaloids are reported and assigned. Methods devised to aid in the assignment of resonances in complex molecules are described. The ^13^C n.m.r. spectra of several derivatives of vinblastine are discussed.
