โœฆ Synopsis

Phosphorus-, silicon-and chlorine-containing oligomers were synthesized by the dealkylation of methyl esters of phosphonic and phosphoric acids with dimethyldichlorsilane or diphenyldichlorsilane. It was established that the ,,-carbon atom of the methoxy group acts as an electrophilic centre. The structures of the products were established by mH-and 3~p-NMR spectroscopy and GPC chromatography.

New fluoroalkyl end-capped oligomers containing pendant phosphoric acid groups were prepared by the reactions of the corresponding monomer with fluoroalkanoyl peroxides. Silicon-containing divinyl ether monomers were synthesized by the addition reaction of glycidyl vinyl ether ( 1) with various silyl dichlorides using tetra-n-butylammonium bromide (TBAB) as a catalyst. The reaction of 1 with diphenyl dichlorosilane gave bis-[1-(chloromethyl)-2-(vinyloxy)-ethyl]diphe

A series of amphiphilic oligomers have been synthesized in which the hydrophobic component was polyisobutylene, polystyrene, poly(methyl methacrylate) or dodecane, and the hydrophilic component was poly(vinyl alcohol) or poly(methacrylic acid). These syntheses exploited the chain extension chemistry
