Abstraet--Oligoethers with hydroxyl end-groups were prepared in boiling toluene from bis(chloromethyl)methylphosphine oxide and glycols used as monosodium glycolates. From these oligoethers and diisocyanates (hexamethylenediisocyanate and 2,4-toluene-diisocyanate), phosphorus-containing polyurethanes were synthesized.
