✦ Synopsis

The reaction of potassium pentafluorophenoxide with phosphorus halides in a variety of oxidation states has been investigated. The new compounds PC120C6F5, PF20C6F5, OPF OC F 2 65' PF40C6F5 and PF3(OC6F5)2 result from the reaction of KOC F with PC1 65 3' PF2Br, 0PF2Br, and PF5. Spectral data and physical properties of the new compounds have been reported.
