✦ Synopsis
A~tract--This work relates to a novel silicone and silicon carbide copolymer prepared by copolymerizing a cyclic or polycyclic non-conjugated diene with polysiloxane or dihydrosilyl hydrocarbon through the so-called hydrosilation. Norbornadiene, 5-vinyl-[2,2,1]bicyclohept-2 ene and 4-vinylcyclohexene have been copolymerized with l,l,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane and 1,4-bis(dimethylsilyl)benzene. The polymers are stable thermally up to 440 ° .

Abstraet---Organosilane polymers of the type [R t R2Sik were prepared by dechlorination of RI R2SiC12 (R t = CH3; R 2 = H, C2H5, C3H7, C4H9, C6HII, CsHI7 or C6H5) with sodium in toluene as solvent. The polymers were characterized by i.r., NMR and thermal analysis. The decomposition temperature, yiel
New silicon containing azopolyamides have been prepared from 4A'-diaminoazobenzene and four structurally related organosilicon acid dichlorides. Polymerization was carried out by the technique of low temperature interfacial polycondensation using methylene chloride water system. The polymers were ye
