✦ Synopsis
Abstract
The carboxyl‐terminated polystyrene (PS) was prepared by free radical polymerization of styrene initiated by functional azo‐initiator under a unimolecular termination mechanism. After replacement of the hydroxyl group of acids by chlorine, the end‐capping reaction of acyl halide‐terminated PS with a large excess of 1,6‐diaminohexane was carried out to obtain primary amino‐terminated PS. Subsequently, various PS macromonomers were derivated from primary amino‐terminated PS.
