Swrunary : A series of noveZ chiral bisazetidines in which two azetidine rings are either directly connected OP coupled in tandem style, are synthesized in good yields by the hydroalane reduction of the corresponding bis-beta-Zactams.

The azetidine skeleton has been one of the most difficult amines to synthesize because of its ring strain.
