✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Heating of hexahydro‐5__H__‐pyrrolo[2,1‐c][1,4]benzodiazepine‐2,5,11‐trione in boiling phosphoryl chloride led to a rearranged product like 3,5‐dichlorobenzo[h][1,6]naphthyridine. This structure was established from X‐ray diffraction analysis.
