Abstract

Aminomethylation of several hydrospirophosphoranes and their derivatives, using chloro‐, alkoxy‐, and amino‐substituted methylamines of various structures, is proposed as the convenient method for the synthesis of new N,N‐disubstituted aminomethylspirophosphoranes. The unique reaction of aminomethylphosphonites with ethylene glycol also resulted in the aminomethylspirophosphoranes via the transesterification followed by the redox process.
