Abstract

Synthesis of cobalt oxide (Co~3~O~4~) nanorods was achieved by templating against carbon nanotubes via wet chemical technique. The products with crystalline structure were mainly composed of Co~3~O~4~ nanorods with diameters in the range of ca. 75–100 nm and lengths in the range of 0.12–1 ΞΌm, and were characterized by XRD, TEM, SAED and HRTEM.
