✦ Synopsis
Iodine-125 labeled analog of 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate ("PA) was obtained by heating the iodine substituted analog of TPA in acetone w i t h sodim [1*61] iodide. m e iodine substituted analog of "PA, 12-0-( 12'-iodododacanoyl)phorbol-13-acetate (IPA) , w a s synthesized fran phorbol by a three step reaction sequence. The structure of IPA was confirnred by high resolution proton -tic r e s o m , fast a t m bOmba+nt mass spectroaretry (FAB) and chdcal ionization mass spectrometry (CIMS).
chrauatography. The product had 99% radiochemical purity and specific activity of Ca. 2.7Ci/m~l. The [ 1 2 SII-IPA was plrified by n o d phase flash coll~l
