Abstract

magnified image A serious of imidacloprid analogues have been synthesized from novel chloronicotinaldehydes. The chloronicotinaldehydes are the important synthons obtained from Vilsmeier reaction of various enamides. Thus synthesized imidacloprid analogues are new heterocyclic compounds obtained in very good yields. J. Heterocyclic Chem., (2009).
