Abstract
Bis‐flavins, each of which bears a disulfide linkage in the molecule, have been synthesized as model compounds for dihydronicotinamide dependent disulfide reductase. These flavins were found to be much better catalysts to promote the reduction of dibenzyl disulfide to α‐toluenethiol than 3‐methyllumiflavin.
