✦ Synopsis

Methylmanganese pentacarbonyl-mediated transformation of enynes to cyclopropanated bicyclic compounds and cyclopentanes bearing an exocyclic double bond has been carried out. Control of the product distribution can be achieved by changing reaction conditions.
