β¦ Synopsis
We have synthesised Bao.6Ko.4BiO3 (BKB) and BaPbl-xBixO3-y compounds by sol-gel process. IR spectra of gels indicated the bridging type of bonding between metal carboxylates leading to the formation of homogeneous gels. BKB and BaPbo.75Bio.2503 compounds exhibited sharp superconducting transitions from R-T and~-T measurements indicating excellent homogeneity of the samples:
