An oligothmidylat¢ containing boranophosplmtcs was ~'nlhesizcd via silylation of Hphosphonate linkages followed by boranation. These compounds formed duplexes having reduced stability with complementary RNA/DNA and stimula|cd RNas¢ H activity.
