## Abstract Well defined __E__/__Z__ isomers of __N__‐methoxy‐__p__‐nitrobenzimidoyl chloride, __N__‐methoxybenzimidoyl chloride, methyl __N__‐methylbenzohydroximate and ethyl __N__‐hydroxybenzimidate were prepared in order to provide model data for studies of benzhydroximic acid derivatives and re
