✦ Synopsis

Abstract

A series of novel 2,3‐diaryl‐3,4‐dihydro‐2H‐1,3‐benzoxazines have been prepared in high yields from o‐arylaminomethylphenols and aromatic aldehydes in the presence of SnCl~4~ for the first time, and their fungicidal activities were investigated too. Some of the products showed good fungicidal activities against Rhizoctonia solani justified by 100% activity of compound 1b. J. Heterocyclic Chem., (2010)
