## Abstract The synthesis of poly[3‐(6‐tetrahydropyran‐2‐yloxyhexyl)‐2,5‐thienylene] has been performed with a nickel catalyst, obtaining a highly regioregular polymer. The deprotection of the pyranyl function restores the ο£ΏOH group giving a polymer which is not soluble in the usual organic solvent
