✦ Synopsis

Abstract

2‐Amino‐4,5‐dihydro‐3‐methanesulfonylfurans 7 and 2‐amino‐4,5‐dihydro‐3‐methanesulfonylthiophenes 8 were prepared by deamidation of tetrahydro‐2‐imino‐3‐methanesulfonyl‐3‐furancarboxamides 3 and of tetrahydro‐2‐imino‐3‐methanesulfonyl‐3‐thiophenecarboxamides 4 with bases. Compounds 3 and 4 were obtained by reaction of 2‐amino‐4,5‐dihydro‐3‐furancarboxamides 1 and 2‐amino‐4,5‐dihydro‐3‐thio‐phenecarboxamides 2 with methanesulfonyl chloride in the presence of triethylamine.
