Refinement of the crystal structures of \(\mathrm{Ba}_{2} \mathrm{CrO}_{4}\) and \(\mathrm{Ba}_{3} \mathrm{CrO}_{5}\) using powder neutron diffraction data has confirmed that the former is isostructural with \(\beta-\mathrm{K}_{2} \mathrm{SO}_{4}\) and the latter isostructural with \(\mathrm{Cs}_{3}
