The -Fe 2 O 3 particles with nanometer size have been hydrothermally synthesized using 2-methoxyethanol (MOE)-H 2 O mixed solvent and acetylacetone(Hacac) as additive from iron(II) 2-methoxyethoxides (Fe(MOEO) 2 ). The typical reaction conditions are as follows: reaction temperature 140°C reaction t

✦ Synopsis
The preparation of nanocrystalline Cu 2 SnS 3 at synthetic conditions of low temperature (<1803C) was 5rst reported. Nanocrystalline Cu 2 SnS 3 was directly synthesized from the reaction of CuCl 2 ' 2H 2 O with elemental tin and sulfur through a solvothermal process in ethylenediamine at 140+1803C for 15 h. X-ray di4raction (XRD) patterns, transmission electron microscope (TEM) images, and X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS) were used to characterize the products. The mechanism of the formation of the Cu 2 SnS 3 nanocrystals in the solvothermal process was proposed. The UV+vis absorption spectroscopy and the electric conductivity of products were also studied.
