The thermal behaviour (sinterability and first crystallization) of a series of alkaline-earth silicophosphate glasses has been studied by differential thermal analysis (DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The samples were prepared from a base bioactive glass of the
