✦ Synopsis

Several diimides -diacids and their esters have been prepared by reacting pyromellitic or trimellitic anhydride with various amino acids or diimines. Several oligo undecanamides with carboxylic end groups have been synthesized and studied. All these compounds were used as monomers for block copolymers. Poly(ester-imide)s and poly(ether-ester-imide)s have been prepared. Their mechanical properties have been studied. One of these products is a very efficient adhesive for glass.
