✦ Synopsis

The facile synthesis of npyridinophane ring system (n = 9-6) was accomplished by the reaction of N-(1-phenylvinyl)iminophosphorane with cyclic ~1, H-unsaturated ketones. The chain flipping was studied by 'H NMR spectra at various temperatures.
