Data are relative to Ag/AgCI, platinum electrode, compound 4 (ca. 1 x lo-' M) with electrolyte tetraethylammonium hexafluorophosphate (0.01 M) in dry dichlormethane under argon, 2 0 T , initial reductive scan, rate 100 mVs-', usinga BAS 100 Electrochemical Analyser. The C.V. was unchanged after continuous cycling for 0.5 h between 1.0 and 0.0 V. We note that the redox potentials of compound 4 are similar to those of tetrathiafulvalene (E:l2 = + 0.34, E:'' = + 0.78 V measured underidentical conditions) and we are, therefore, pursuing the possibility of forming organic conductors based on system 4.
