Abstract
The ^1^H and ^13^C NMR resonances for a novel distamycin conjugate, 3‐[1‐methyl‐4‐[1‐methyl‐4‐[1‐methyl‐4‐[N^1^‐[5‐methyl‐2,4(1__H__,3__H__)pyrimidinedione]acetylamino]pyrrole‐2‐carboxamido]pyrrole‐2‐carboxamido]pyrrole‐2‐carboxamido]propionamidine hydrochloride (1), were assigned, using the concerted application of one‐ and two‐dimensional NMR techniques including nuclear Overhauser effect difference, DEPT, HMQC and HMBC experiments. Derivatization of the octadecathymidylate derivative 18 (T18 ODN) containing a free amine function with sulfo-SIAB@ gave the corresponding iodoacetyl ODN 21. Conjugation of the latter with the thiol-containing pentasaccharide 17c gave pentasaccharide-ODN conjugate 111, which exhibited anti-Xa and an
