Abstract
A new C~2~‐symmetric chiral lariat ether has been prepared by 1 : 1 cyclocondensation of a contrafunctional amine easily obtained from L‐serine. Its ^1^H and ^13^C spectra were completely assigned using the two‐dimensional gradient enhanced one‐bond (HMQC) and multiple‐bond (HMBC) heteronuclear techniques together with the homonuclear DQF COSY correlation technique.
