✦ Synopsis

The specific labelling of the octapeptide1des-9-gl cinamide--8-lysine-vasopressin in the tyrosine and phenylalanine 3 residues with tritium is described. The 3.5-dibromotyrosine and 4-chloro--phenylalanine containing precursor peptides for labelling were synthesized by solid phase peptide synthesis. These peptides were catalytically tritiated giving the labelled derivatives with high specific radioactivity.
