Die 13,17‐Propionsäure‐methylester‐Seitenketten des Deuteroporphyrin‐dimethylesters (1a) wurden mit Phenylselenobromid zu 1b dehydriert. Die 12,18‐Methylgruppen tauschten in Deuterio‐methanol mit Natriummethoxid Wasserstoff gegen Deuterium aus.
