✦ Synopsis

The synthesis and characterization of a new metal-functionalized polysilane is reported. Treatment of poly (methylphenylsilane) with Mo(CO)~(NC~H& and BF,.OEt, affords the novel copolymer, poly-(methylphenylsilane-stat-methyl(~6-phenyltricarbonylmolybdenum)silane).

The synthesis and characterization of the model compounds, (~6-phenyltricarbonylmolybdenum)trimethylsilane, I-phenyl-2-($-phenyltricarbonylmolybdenum)tetramethyldisilane and 1,2-di(~6-phenyltricarbonylmolybdenum)te~rame~hyldisilane, are used to support a full structural characterization of the copolymer.

## Abstract **Summary:** A new and rather simple method to obtain randomly crosslinked PCL is reported. PCL was previously functionalized through radical grafting of MA and GMA in the melt, using a Brabender‐like apparatus. GMA was added in order to obtain higher grafting efficiency. The structure
